J550 sitting in the goods loop at Longwarry. It was being hauled to Steamrail's depot from Morwell after it was purchased from Mirboo Nth shire with a view to swapping it for Warragul's A2 986.
The same J550 after cosmetic restoration by Steamrail. It has since had a fence erected around it and although its condition deteriorated, it was recently repainted.
ACZ 251 being 'bogie exchanged" in the same goods loop at Longwarry. The car had been on The Gippslander and developed a hot box. It was shunted here along with the D van and passengers transferred to other cars. The D van was retrieved (with a shunting maneuver requiring a trip to Drouin) by a following goods. The ACZ stayed until the next day.
